Robin Ford, Co-founder Robin Ford is the driving force behind building the Project 19 Foundation. She brings a wealth of entrepreneurial experience to the foundation.
Robin grew up working in the family business in the 80’s when the company landed a small retailer called Wal-Mart. After graduating from Oklahoma Christian University with a journalism degree, Robin took those life lessons into the high-tech industry, via a short stint in the newsroom and in the advertising world. Most recently, Robin assisted in developing a global alliances organization within Dell Computers, and currently, negotiates large contracts with the United States Government, defense contractors and corporations on behalf of Dell.
Robin founded and franchised ‘My Party Palace,’ a company that helps women become independent business owners, and teaches young girls the value of self-esteem. Robin’s personal experiences and life passions shine the most when she is public speaking and training women to reach their potential. Robin is a philanthropist, a noted public speaker and journalist; however, her greatest job is being “Mom” to four amazing children.
Lisa Copeland, Co-founder Lisa Copeland is an innovative, dynamic and seasoned professional with strong leadership skills, a committed philanthropic spirit and a proven talent for building high profile organizations with successful revenue models.
After college, Lisa started her career in the automotive industry, holding positions from Finance Director to Sales Manager for three mega auto dealers. Her top management and sales expertise earned her many awards including Chryslers prestigious “5 Star Inner Circle.” Additionally, throughout her career, she has been recognized for exceptional performance in the mortgage, insurance and political arenas.
As President/CEO for Austin Mortgage Associates, Lisa successfully achieved record-breaking growth, taking it from 25 million in mortgage loans, to over a half a billion dollars in nine years. In 2003, she was named one of the top 100 mortgage originators in the nation, and Farmers Insurance Rookie of the Year in 2007.
Over the last several years, Lisa has served on the board of two national non-profits and four Austin-based non-profits. In 2008, Lisa co-founded her own 501c3, Women Impacting the Nation, a group dedicated to raising money for the Children of Fallen Soldiers.
Currently, Lisa enjoys a successful career as a Professional Speaker, Certified Business Coach and Political Trainer, and is working on her first book, “Don’t Stop Believing, The Project 19 Journey.”
Lisa has broken records and glass ceilings in every aspect of her career. She has a proven track record of success in launching new businesses and directing operations for successful businesses; however, Lisa’s greatest accomplishments are her two wonderful children Allix and J.T., and her 20-year marriage to her husband, James.
